This Privacy Policy explains how ResumePass AI ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the ResumePass AI app on iPhone, iPad and Android, and this website. By using ResumePass AI, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, collected when you register.
• Resume content: the text of any resume file you upload, and any job description you add, so the app's tools can analyze, rewrite or restructure it.
• Usage data: which tools you use and how many checks you have left, so your account and purchases work correctly.
• Device identifier: on iPhone and iPad, a random identifier generated by the app and stored in your device Keychain. On Android, your device's Android ID. It is stored only together with a count of free uses so free uses cannot be reset by reinstalling the app. It is not linked to your name or email.
• Purchase information: confirmation that a check pack was bought, so the checks can be added to your account. We never see or store your card or payment details.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal details such as health information, religion or government ID numbers. Please avoid including these in a resume you upload.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To run the AI Detector, AI Rewriter, ATS Score Checker, Improve ATS Score, Fix My Resume and Template tools on the resume text you provide.
• To add purchased checks to your account.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other apps and websites.

Third-party services we use

• Firebase (Google): account sign-in and storing your account data and check balances.
• Third-party AI providers: process the resume text and any job description you submit to run the app's AI tools.
• Apple App Store and Google Play: process in-app purchases of check packs.

Resume text is sent to these services only to generate the result you requested. We only work with providers that process this data under their own privacy and data protection terms, and we do not allow them to use it for advertising. AI data sharing and your consent

Before your first upload, the app asks for your permission to send your resume text to our third-party AI providers. Nothing is sent unless you allow it. You can turn this off anytime in Account, AI data sharing. While it is off, the AI tools cannot run until you allow it again.

Data storage and retention

Your account information and check balances are stored in Firebase, tied to your account, until you delete your account or ask us to remove it. Your resume history and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device, not on our servers, and are removed when you delete the app.

To keep AI Detector results consistent, a resume created in ResumePass AI carries a hidden document ID, and we store the score and highlighted ranges for that ID. This record does not contain your name, email or resume text.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account anytime inside the app from Account, Delete account. This immediately removes your account, profile and check balances from our servers and clears your resume history on that device. Unused checks are lost when an account is deleted. You can also request deletion by email. See the account deletion page.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your account data at any time by emailing onlineplagiarismremover@gmail.com. You can also delete single items from your History directly inside the app.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access rules that allow each account to read only its own data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

ResumePass AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
